Attend Industry Trade Shows

  • We may collect lists containing personal contact information from Industry tradeshows and for use as permitted by the supplying organization.
  • These lists may be uploaded into our prospective customers (Prospects) database or mailing lists software and kept indefinitely.
  • Individuals have the right to request to request that their information be removed from the Prospects database or mailings lists and United will process their request in 5-10 business days.

When Activating a Customer Account

  • United is required to collect and keep certain personal information about customers and their related business practices. Prior to sending processing an order or a refining lot, United will need to collect at least minimal information from customers to satisfy Anti -Money Laundering policy and Conflict Free Sourcing regulations.
  • We will retain these records indefinitely (including personal information) or for a minimum of 10 years from the customer’s last order or completed refining lot, or as otherwise required by law.
  • Once a customer has transacted an order or a refining lot, United will be unable to honor requests to remove personal information for beneficial owners or key persons. However, your information is maintained by United and will not be disseminated outside the company unless required to by law.

Information Usage

Under Section 352 of the USA Patriot Act -United is defined as a “dealer” in Precious Metals. As such, the law requires United to establish an AML policy and retain certain information about you to be in compliance with current KYC (“Know Your Customer”) regulatory requirements. This data includes information about the beneficial owners and individuals with whom they transact business.

To process transactions – Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or services requested.

To send e-mails – The email address you provide for order processing and refining results may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order or lots status. In addition, the email address may be utilized in the distribution of company newsletters, updates, related products or service update and improvement, to administer promotions, surveys or other site features.

Third Party

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer customer’s or prospective customer’s personal information to outside parties. However, please note that United may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the current law or other regulations in our industry for which release would be standard practice.
